How can a Support Broker Help?
Support brokers are equipped to assist with all aspects of self-direction. They can aid in the onboarding process for the employer of record, also known as the common law employer, or managing employer, as well as all support staff, referred to as service support professionals. Additionally, they can support the common law employer with all associated responsibilities, develop policies and procedures, and help with or manage the recruitment and training of staff. Support brokers are instrumental in ensuring that all compliance requirements for the Office of Developmental Programs (ODP) are fulfilled and that the team comprehensively understands the services and support provided.
